An unscientific poll for high school students

Would your outlook or general feeling toward classes (core classes in particular…English, Math, Science, Social Studies) change if you knew that there would be NO standardized test (i.e. STAAR in Texas) at the end of the year? So, your promotion or retention for those classes would be only determined by your performance during the school year, not by a single test. I’m looking for some honest reflection and answers to this from current students.

(Any parents that read this are encouraged to ask their son/daughter for their thoughts)
